Fans of Harry Potter can rejoice this Christmas as Primark is selling an advent calendar shaped like the iconic Hogwarts Express.
The robust wooden model features a red-and-black train engine just like the one in the films, along with a carriage holding 24 little compartments to be filled with treats.

Its £15 price tag makes it more expensive than most on the market, but its wizarding theme and the fact it can be used again and again could make it a hit.
It certainly seems popular with fans of the Harry Potter series of books and films.
Primark shared a video of the product on its official Instagram account, writing in the caption: “Fresh from Platform 9¾, our Harry Potter Hogwarts Express advent calendar has arrived into selected stores.

Safe to say, the shop’s followers were all over it, as one commented: “Oh my goddddd I need this!!!”

For those preferring what some would consider a more grown-up option, there are a number of boozy advent calendars catching shoppers’ eyes this year.
Among them is a Baileys-themed calendar featuring chocolates and a bottle of the cream liqueur!

Similarly, the bargain store is also selling a number of calendars perfect for gin lovers, including one that comes with a mini bottle of Gordon’s Pink Gin and another with a bottle of Bombay Sapphire.
The blurb reads: “Let the good times beGIN! Know a special someone with a taste for gin? This chocolate and alcohol advent calendar will satisfy both sweet tooths and those who enjoy a Christmas tipple.”
Wilkinsons, meanwhile, is ensuring people’s dogs don’t miss out on the festive fun, as the retailer is selling advent calendars for pooches for just £1.
