Dr Ranj Singh became the latest casualty of the Strictly vote off on Sunday.
Judges opted to send the NHS doctor and This Morning star home after he ended up in the bottom two along with actor Charles Venn.
Craig Revel-Horwood, voted to save Ranj and Janette, but Darcey Bussell, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli all voted to save Charles, making Dr Ranj the sixth celeb to leave this series with his partner Janette Manrara.
The disappointed doctor said he was sad to be leaving after his samba with a Bonfire Night theme failed to impress the viewers at home.
He said he had thoroughly enjoyed his time on the BBC show, fitting in his rehearsals alongside his work as a doctor.
“I can’t express how much this has meant to me, I’ve done something I could only ever have dreamed of.”
Janette praised Ranj for his work as a doctor and said she “couldn’t have asked for a better friend or better partner.”
“I cannot thank you enough,” Ranj told Janette. “You have put up with the best and worst of me, you’ve given me a new love I never thought I’d have and you’re one of my best friends and I love you for it, thank you so much.”
But it was young viewers’ hearts across the country that really broke as parents took to Twitter to reveal their little ones were devastated at the kids’ TV fave being booted off.
Nooooooooo! Strictly you have broken my three grand-daughters hearts! How could you vote off Dr. Ranj!

Meanwhile, Casualty star Charles was relieved and delighted to make it through to another week after finding himself in the dance-off for the third time with his pro partner Karen Clifton.

He didn’t get enough votes for his Viennese Waltz to avoid the dance-off again, despite scoring more highly for his performance than Kate Silverton, Danny John-Jules and Dr Ranj on Saturday’s show.
Perhaps viewers were too distracted to notice Charles’ performance as they were talking on Twitter about how Neil Jones suddenly seemed happier and how presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were making them cringe.
Following Dr Ranj’s exit, the bookies have revealed who they think could now win the show this year.
They are tipping Stacey Dooley for success, but admit it is a close-run race with Joe Sugg, Ashley Roberts and Faye Tozer also in the running.
