The post was captioned: “REVIEW – With only 63 days until Christmas, we couldn’t help but start to feel a little festive, especially with the crisp mornings and dark evenings!
“Therefore tonight felt like a great opportunity to review these new caramel crumble pies from the festive range at @asda!
“With an all butter pastry, chocolaty crumble topping (which is really crumbly) and thick caramel filling these are super indulgent but they are delicious!
“If your not a fan of mince pies and always feel jealous of people tucking into them at Christmas then these are the mince pie alternative for you!
“We are going to stock up on these for Christmas as we think they are fantastic!”
Shoppers went wild for the treats with one person commenting: “These look delicious. I’m not a big mince pie fan so I might have to grab a box of these!”
Another wrote: “Yum yum. Gotta try these,” while a third said: “Yummy!!! These look so good.”
Earlier this week, we revealed that Asda is selling two new Christmas treats for the festive period.
The supermarket has launched a “extra special Christmas cracker” which is basically a roast dinner stuffed into a foot-long sausage.
The festive treat is a blend of turkey, pork and all the trimmings – including parsnip, brussels sprouts and mashed potato, in the sausage.
