Chocolate lovers are up in arms after finding a disappointing start to their Celebrations advent calendar this festive season.
The popular chocolate brand – which includes the likes of Maltesers, Mars, Snickers and Twix – played a cruel trick on customers by offering mini Bounty bars on both day one and day two of its advent calendar.
Some chocoholics were so outraged they accused the company of ‘ruining Christmas’.

To begin by putting a mini Bounty in day one – one of the most divisive chocolate bars on the market – surprised many.
But to put the coconut-based bar in for a second day left fans fuming.

It wasn’t long though before Celebrations themselves got involved, posting a hilarious response.
First of all it posts a huge LOL, spelt out with Bounty bars, and then this:
Fuming? We got you 🔥 https://t.co/2Km4RVdGu6 pic.twitter.com/Bq5ySoGlpb

Normal service was resumed on day three when a Mars bar appeared behind the window.
And, you guessed it, Celebrations had a catchy social media post for that, too, saying: “Mars to the rescue!”
