It’s time to get cracking if you want to snap up a set of prosecco Christmas crackers this Yuletide.
Virgin Wines has announced that its set of six prosecco crackers are available to pre-order now.
Costing £34.99, they are set to once again fly off the shelves.
The blurb revealed: “Gone are the pack of playing cards and mini screwdriver set, instead, a 20cl bottle of prosecco will be falling out of your crackers!”

It added: “Don’t panic, there’s still a Christmas hat and cheesy joke that will have the whole dinner table saying prosec-ho-ho-ho.”

You can reserve yours now for a fiver – and we’d recommend that you do as they sold out pretty quickly in 2017 and 2018.
If wine is more your thing, Virgin Wines also sells a set of six wine crackers, £29.99.

They include each a 187ml bottle of “quality hand-crafted wine such as an Argentinian Malbec and a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc”.
Gin fans can pull the gin and tonic crackers, £34.99.
Each cracker features premium gins such as Bombay Sapphire and Whitley Neill, plus a can of Fever Tree tonic.
They’ll be despatched towards the end of November.
Then all you have to do is wait till December 25 to pull – and drink – them!
