Iceland is selling a chocolate and orange gateau for Christmas – and it looks unreal.
Instagram page Newfoodsuk shared a photo of the gateau, which has three layers and is smothered in chocolate frosting.
The cake has chocolate orange flavoured filling in between the layers and is topped with chocolate orange pieces and frosting.

The post was captioned: “New Festive desserts now at @icelandfoods swipe to see all!”
The post also included a salted caramel profiterole gateau, a rocky road cheesecake, a white berry Christmas tree cheesecake, a salted caramel Christmas tree cheesecake and an Irish Cream Dome.

Shoppers loved the desserts and shared their thoughts in the comment section.

The description of the gateau says on the Iceland website: “A layered chocolate flavoured sponge cake with chocolate and orange flavour frosting and orange flavoured filling, topped with orange flavour chocolate segments and chocolate vermicelli.”
The website states to defrost the gateau for 12 hours and allow to stand for 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.
It’s available to buy in stores and online for £8 and serves eight people.
Meanwhile, for Christmas, Iceland is selling a pie which is filled with an entire roast dinner.

The meal includes all the essentials: turkey, a pig in blanket, sprouts, cranberries, peas, carrots, stuffing, bacon and onions.
According to Iceland, the pie serves one person and is available in stores from November 18.
You can also pork, sage and onion stuffing log in bacon, tempura sprouts and a chocolate melt in the middle pudding.
