Biscoff maker Lotus has shared perhaps the best news we’ve heard all year.
And we know that isn’t exactly high praise given the year 2020 has shaped up to be, but Lotus’s new launch is nothing less than epic.
Yes, the Biscoff gods are smiling on us with news of delicious new goodies.
Combining creamy milk chocolate and the delicious caramelised biscuits, it’s joyous news to say the very least.
So, without further ado, let us introduce you to your new snack obsession.
What is the new Biscoff launch?
Lotus is launching two chocolate bars that are filled with Biscoff.
And, whether you like it crunchy or smooth, there’s a bar for you.

“The unique Biscoff taste forms the basis for a specially developed new range of Lotus Biscoff chocolate,” the company’s half-year statement revealed.
“Following the recent launch of both the Biscoff Sandwich Cookie and the new international range of Biscoff Ice Cream, the next Biscoff innovation will be launched in the second half of the year,” it added.
“The range will consist of two varieties: milk chocolate with crunchy Biscoff pieces and milk chocolate with smooth Biscoff spread filling,” the drool-worthy statement added.
“Both varieties will be available as bars and in a mini version,” it added.
The food bloggers of Instagram had a little more news.

Netherlands-based website Snack.je revealed: “The big chocolate bars will weigh a whopping 180g, so they will definitely be bigger and heavier than the usual European bar chocolate bars that weigh around 100g.”
In another post, Snack.je revealed more news about the smaller sharer bags, as well as a picture of the snacks.
These look a bit amazing, don’t they?
“More EXCITING Lotus Biscoff news! Together with the Lotus chocolate bars, Lotus will release these 11-piece 165g bags with one-serving chocolates inside.”
They post added: “The chocolates will weigh 15g and are packed separately.”
What do fans of the biscuits say?
Fans rushed to comment on the news.
“OOOOH EXCITING,” screamed one.
“These look a bit amazing, don’t they?” Kev’s Snack Reviews said, posting the news on his Instagram Stories.
“These have to be amazing!” said another fan of the spread.
“Dream come true,” another declared.
“I cannot wait to try them,” said another.
Where can I buy the new bars?
The goodies are being launched this autumn.
However, sadly for Brits, they are being rolled out in supermarkets in Belgium.
Lotus CEO Jan Boone, however, hinted that the chocolate bars will be rolled out internationally.
Commenting on the half-year statement, Jan revealed: “I am particularly pleased with the strength of Lotus Biscoff and the extraordinary growth that we have achieved.”
The CEO added: “I am convinced that the introduction of our latest innovation, Biscoff Chocolate, will further boost Biscoff’s global potential.”
