Mark December 3 in your diaries as supermarket Morrisons is going to be handing out some freebies.
Senior citizens will be able to enjoy a mince pie and a hot drink for free at the supermarket’s cafe.
Simply head into a Morrisons Cafe and mention the offer to a member of staff and they will serve up your festive treat.
They will be served from 2.30pm till 5.30pm.

The store is also asking visitors to the cafe to take the time to sit down and have a chat with a fellow pensioner over your coffee and mince pie.

“Nobody should have to be alone over the festive season,” the store said.
“So to show our older customers how much we value them — and spread a little festive cheer — we’re offering all OAPs a free hot drink and mince pie in our cafes between 2.30pm and 5pm on Tuesday 3rd December,” it added.

The store has run the festive promotion before, as well as offering free hot cross buns and cups of tea at Easter.
