They are easily our favourite component of the Christmas dinner, so it’s vital we stock up on the very best pigs in blankets (who wants to waste time making them when there are presents to open?!).

The good folks there have tested out a range of Christmas dishes and refreshments to select the best in each with their blind taste test, including those precious p’s-in-b’s!
And Sainsbury’s has come out on top.
The supermarket’s Taste the Difference pork chipolatas wrapped in bacon cost £3 for six.

The Christmas food item scored 83 out of 100 on the taste test.
Good Housekeeping judges tested over 383 individual items from 51 retailers and brands across the UK.
The pigs in blankets runners-up were Jolly Hog Gluten-Free Pigs in Blankets which you can pick up from Ocado £4 for 12.
Meat Stuffing had joint winners.
Tesco Finest Stuffing Wreath with Pigs in Blankets and Cranberry Compote and Asda Extra Special Pigs in Blankets Festive Feast both scored 80 out of 100.
You can pick up the Tesco’s stuffing for £4 for 534g which serves six people.
The Asda is slightly extra costing £5, however it serves 12.
The item which scored the highest overall on the taste test is the Baking Agent Mini Mince pies with 90 out of 100.
