However, for her latest outing, VB treated us to a look we can actually replicate – for just pennies.
Stepping out, Victoria attended close friend and the godparent to her children, Elton John’s, AIDS Foundation party held in Windsor on Wednesday evening.
Although her husband David Beckham wasn’t present at the bash, Victoria was accompanied by her eldest son Brooklyn to the glittering soirée. Could these two be any cuter?

For the star-studded event, the 44-year-old mother of four looked sensational in a floor-sweeping black dress.
Featuring a plunge neckline, ruche shoulder detail and a sheer back bodice with a low-cut silhouette, the fashion designer kept the rest of her ensemble sleek, opting only for a green emerald pendant, black strappy heels, natural make-up and a relaxed ponytail. Simple, yet oh-so effective.
Casual it may be but there’s something quite special about her low-slung ponytail.

Sharing snaps from her getting ready process on Instagram, Victoria revealed the beautiful hidden detail that took her ‘do from standard to standout.
Secured in place with a neat black hair tie, her stylist Earl Simms also used an ultra-thin black ribbon to detract from the elastic. And we love the results.
Of course, to get this look yourself is incredibly easy, but it’s also extremely cheap.
Head to your local haberdashery and you’ll likely be able to pick up a metre of this size of ribbon for 30p.
So, whether you’re heading to work, hitting the beach or attending a wedding, try Victoria’s trick to amp up your ponytail. Who’d have thought something so simple could look so effective?
