Polka dots have been enjoying a fashion moment this summer, and it’s a trend set to continue throughout autumn. Just ask Michelle Keegan.
She’s taken advantage of the cooler weather to pull on a pair of polka-dot trousers from her latest Very.co.uk collection.
The Our Girl actress has shared a picture to Instagram of her wearing the wide-leg wonders – and we want. Want. WANT!
Michelle, 31, teamed her spotty slacks with a crisp white shirt for her girly outing.
But, modelling the item on Very.co.uk, Mark Wright’s other half has gone for bold, pairing them with a polka-dot soft body in reverse monochrome.
They look great together (right?) so at an additional £35 for the body, it’d be madness not to completely reproduce Michelle’s look for ourselves.
The £40 trousers will see you through the last weeks of summer, right into autumn and winter.
With their high waist and flared legs, they will flatter any silhouette, and give the illusion of a nipped-in middle.
They’ll look great in the colder months matched with a fine-knit sweater, or a slouchy black Bardot jumper.
We’ve got our eyes on a red faux leather jacket, also from Michelle’s collection – rouge looks great against black and white!

Michelle wowed the fashion press at the launch of this Spring/Summer’s Very.co.uk collection, wearing a £100 vintage-inspired polka-dot peplum. And – great news – there are still some left at Very.co.uk.
A little bit pricey, but a classic that could live in your wardrobe forever.
