Brigitte Nielsen shocked the world when she announced on Instagram that she was becoming a mum again at the age of 54.
The Celebrity Big Brother star, now 55, has since welcomed her “little princess” Frida and said her older age makes her a better mum than she was to her previous children.
She had her first son, Julian Winding, 34, when she was 20, and then went on to have Killian Nielsen, 28, Douglas Meyer, 25, and Raoul Meyer Jr, 23.

Now decades later, she has a newborn again and she said she couldn’t be happier.
“I’m more capable, less frustrated and not afraid. I know exactly what I want to do with her and where I’m at in life,” she told People magazine of the benefits of being an older mum.
She said she will be more hands-on with Frida as when she had her other children she was still focussed on her career.
Back then she relied on childcare to help her juggle work and motherhood but now she will dedicate all her time to being a mum.

The actress said she and her fifth husband, Mattia Dessi, 39, are overjoyed to have their daughter after a ten year fertility battle.

She froze her eggs when she was 40 and tried numerous cycles of IVF until they eventually conceived.
“There was a lot of disappointment,” she admitted. “It’s that phone call going, ‘it’s negative.’ It’s the waiting. At times you can feel lonely, because a lot of women don’t talk to each other about it.”
Brigitte announced Frida’s arrival on Instagram at the end of June.

Sharing a picture of her cradling the newborn in hospital, she wrote: “Our precious little Frida, our true love.”

She’d only announced her pregnancy the month before with an image of her holding her blossoming baby bump and the caption: “Family getting larger #me #family #brigittenielsen #babybump.”
Brigitte previously told The Guardian in 2011 how she didn’t think she was too old to have another baby.

She said: “I would love to because of all the things I have learned. It would be like starting all over again. But am I too old? I’m young at heart and I would be different this time round.”
She famously appeared in the third series of Celebrity Big Brother back in 2005, which also had her former mother-in-law, Jackie Stallone (actor Sylvester’s Stallone’s mum), as a housemate.
Brigitte finished the show in third place.
