Hollyoaks star Anna Passey has opened up about her long-distance relationship with her former co-star Nick Rhys.
Anna, who has played Sienna Blake on the Chester-based soap for the past six years, met Nick when he played Lockie Campbell between 2014-16.
He then left to appear in TV mini-series Harley and the Davidsons and Holby City, and is currently pursuing new roles in the U.S.

Anna, 33, admitted their romance is more complicated now than when they were co-stars but they are making it work.
“We’ve been together getting on for five years now. Nick’s in Los Angeles at the moment so it’s rather a long-distance relationship,” she told What’s On TV.

“It’s not always easy with him on the other side of the world but that’s often what you get when you date another actor. Maybe I should have chosen a plumber or something – only joking!”
Anna previously told the publication that one benefit of him no longer working with her is she doesn’t have to watch him getting passionate with her friends!

When asked how she felt about Nick’s kissing scenes in Hollyoaks, she said: “In every interview I have ever read with actors and actresses, they always say it’s not weird because it’s a job, but I find it so bizarre, especially as Lockie is making out with everybody all the time – these are my pals in the show.
“Jennifer [Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes] will come up to me and say, ‘I’ve been kissing your boyfriend all morning’.”
