We have spent the last few months wondering what Vincent Hubbard’s fate was after he mysteriously disappeared thanks to dodgy cop DCI Alsworth, who turned out to be working for Aidan Maguire.
The last we saw of him he was in the back of an unmarked police car with a gun pointing at his head as he tried to explain that he wanted out of his deal to bring down the heist mastermind.
But it turned out Vincent had been making deals with the devil when the police officer he thought was helping him was actually corrupt, and things didn’t look good for Kim’s desperate husband.
But while it still remains a mystery as to whether Vincent is dead or alive, Kim is desperately trying to hunt down her missing husband.

EastEnders actress Tameka Empson told Digital Spy at the recent British Soap Awards at the weekend that she is just as keen as we are to find out what has happened to her on-screen husband: “We need to know what happened.”
“Why did Vincent walk out? Nobody knows.”
She even joked that since his disappearance, Vincent hasn’t been doing his household chores… “He didn’t put out the bin either, so we need to find out what is going on.”
Tameka also hinted that she was looking forward to a potential return from Richard Blackwood, who played fan-favourite Vincent for three years.
“It needs to be resolved. I think, you know, somebody doesn’t just get up and walk out like that. How dare he? So let’s see what happens. I’m looking forward to it, either way.”

With the latest twist in the tale being the fact Kim thinks she could be pregnant with Vincent’s baby, it seems that could be a fitting way to bring the character back.
As Kim struggles to cope with life as a single mum, could her husband make a shock return to the Square just at the right time?
Fans would be thrilled to see him back, and it seems Tameka would be, too. Keep everything crossed.
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
