Emmerdale star Adam Thomas posted a heartwarming tribute to his baby daughter, Elsie-Rose to Instagram – raving about the joy of watching her grow.
The image shows four-month-old Elsie-Rose wearing a giant winter hat to keep her warm in the brisk autumn weather.

He posted a lengthy caption about how much he was looking forward to watching her become an adult – taking a moment to thank people fighting for women’s rights as she grows up.
“To think one day I might be walking this beautiful girl down the aisle…” he said. “Can not wait for that day and every other day watching this little girl grow Into a beautiful strong woman!!
“Thankful for every woman out there standing up for women’s rights…right now so she doesn’t have too ❤️❤️❤️👊👊👊”
Adam seems to be revelling in the company of his family, after spending a week away from them for work.
He posted a shot of Elsie-Rose when he arrived back, sharing his joy at being home.
“When you’ve been away working for a week and then come home to this ❤️❤️❤️ just as beautiful as her mother @carolinethomas23 😍😍,” he said.
Adam and wife Caroline welcomed Elsie-Rose back in May. Her proud dad posted a photo at the time, hinting she was his favourite child.
“I think I’ve got a favourite… don’t tell teddy 😂😂😂” he said. “PS when you’ve learnt to read ted I was only joking 😜 Elsie-Rose Thomas xx”
The couple are also parents to Teddy – who turned four earlier this month.

Ryan marked the occasion, posting a photo of his son blowing out his birthday candles.
The image was captioned “What a weekend celebrating lil Ted’s bday thanks to everyone who popped in and shared some love!! Still can’t believe he’s four !!! 🙈🙈”
