If you can’t wait until later this year to see how Emma Willis gets on as she turns maternity care assistant for her new TV show, Delivering Babies, W have given a sneak peek via its Twitter account.
The images show The Voice presenter looking at a newborn in an incubator and a close-up shot of the tiny tot who has just come into the world.
In another snap, Emma, 42, who is wearing a blue uniform with pens tucked into her pocket, cradles one of the tiny babies.
The channel captioned the images: “Incoming: more exclusive pics of @EmmaWillis lending a hand on the Maternity Ward… #DeliveringBabies is arriving later this year!”
Emma also shared one of the pictures with her Instagram followers, who said they couldn’t wait to see the show.
“Can’t wait to watch. It is my full time job and I love it!” wrote one.
“Would be the job for you if u didn’t find fame, I think this is amazing,” said another.
“Wow this is gonna be good!” wrote a third.
Earlier this month it was revealed that Emma would front six episodes of the documentary.
But she won’t just be standing around reading from an autocue and interviewing staff and new parents, she’ll be getting stuck in on the delivery suites.

She’ll be working four shifts a week: day and night; alongside the nursing staff, where she’ll discover first-hand what makes it one of the toughest, but most rewarding careers you can have.
The mother-of-three had to complete mandatory training to work as an maternity care assistant for the programme, and she’ll be taking blood pressure, assisting in theatre and helping out where needed as the mums are in labour.
Emma has said the role is a dream come true as her mother was a nurse and she’s always been “fascinated” by her work.
She said: “If I wasn’t doing my current job I know for a fact that I would have loved to work in a hospital. Blood, guts and the workings of the human body have always fascinated me.
“Both my parents worked in hospitals and so it’s literally in my blood. I can’t wait to dive right in and fully immerse myself in a busy maternity ward alongside the truly incredible midwives and nurses who work there day in day out.”
When asked by OK! magazine if the show would make her feel broody, she said: “No! Are you joking? Have you ever seen a birth? That doesn’t make you want any more.”
She quipped: “That’s why I’m doing it: so I don’t have any more!”
Emma and her husband, Busted musician Matt, are parents to Isabelle, eight, Ace, six, and one-year-old Trixie.
While she doesn’t want anymore children of her own, Emma said she’d love her younger sister to give her a niece or nephew, especially if she can help deliver them!
She said: “I want to deliver a baby, or at least see a delivery. I think it would be incredible to witness. I missed mine because I was at the other end.
“I need my little sister to have a baby, really. I could be her birthing partner.”
Adam Collings, channel director for W, said: “W is always looking for surprising and innovative ideas and are delighted Emma will embark on this unique journey with us.
“I’m thrilled viewers will get to celebrate one of life’s most precious moments, first-hand alongside the parents and healthcare professionals and as seen from Emma’s perspective.”
