Aled Jones will now not appear on Al Murray’s ITV Christmas show next week, following sexual harassment claims, which came to light last month.
The popular presenter was to make an appearance in Make Christmas Great Again, hosted by The Pub Landlord.
But his segment has been dropped from the show, which is slated to air on December 22.
The Songs of Praise star has been accused of sending messages to a member of BBC staff over a decade ago. It was confirmed that he will not appear on the network pending an investigation.
He last featured on a BBC show on October 22.
Former child star Aled, 46, is thought to be one of 25 cases currently being probed by the corporation.
The presenter has denied any inappropriate contact, via a statement from his spokesperson.
“Although not related to any broadcast work, Aled voluntarily agreed not to go on the BBC whilst the matter is investigated,” it read.
“Whilst he accepts that his behaviour over a decade ago was occasionally juvenile, as was that of others, he never intended to harass or distress and he strongly denies any inappropriate contact.
“He is, however, deeply sorry for any upset caused and hopes this matter is resolved soon.”

Meanwhile a source told The Sun: “There is an allegation that inappropriate messages and contact with a female member of staff took place.”
The Mirror reports his mother-in-law Elaine Fossett as saying: “A nicer, nicer guy you couldn’t wish to meet.
“He is totally incapable of sexual harassment.”
