Her tiny tot was born at the Queen Charlotte hospital in Hammersmith and Fulham on 22nd January 2017.

The 39-year-old has been very tight-lipped about what her and husband Charlie Thompson were going to name him, but did say that they were struggling to find one.

Talking to The One Show via a phone call, she said: “We’re a bit behind on the whole name thing because we didn’t know if we were having a boy or a girl. We thought, ‘When we see him we’ll know what he looks like’, but actually it’s really hard.”

Well we’re pretty happy with this one. It seems perfect, and of course she told her fans on St David’s Day!

Opening up about the birth, she also told the BBC’s chat show hosts: “He was 7lbs 11oz – a lovely weight. It was all very straightforward.

“Charlie was with me and mum and dad were in the waiting room.”

In terms of becoming a parent, Alex seems to be LOVING it.

She added: “It’s the most wonderful feeling. The last four days have been heaven. We’re in this bubble the three of us. It’s just the best time.”
