Alexandra Burke has revealed she doesn’t currently have plans to start a family with fiancé Joshua Ginnelly.
The Strictly finalist, who became engaged in January this year, said she hasn’t had time to think yet about planning a wedding, yet alone having a baby.
“It’s not for now, but of course it’s every woman’s dream to have children one day. Eventually we will, but it’s not part of the plan at the moment. One day!” she told New! magazine.
The 29-year-old said she’s just so busy at the moment, she can’t focus on anything other than her career.
“It’s been non-stop since Strictly started so I haven’t had time to think about a wedding or planning,” she admitted.
She added that her fiancé has no concerns about her becoming a “bridezilla”, in fact he’s more worried she’ll never get round to planning their big day as she has so much else on!
The X Factor winner recently released her new album, The Truth Is, which she has been busy promoting, after finishing the Strictly Live tour.
She’ll perform hits from the record when she tours the UK again in September.
Meanwhile this April, she’ll star in a big revival of the musical Chess on the West End stage with Michael Ball.
She’s been attending numerous dance and exercise classes to ensure she’s in top shape for the performances.
Sounds like she might need to hire a wedding planner if the couple intend to tie the knot anytime soon!
The singer was delighted to announce their engagement via Instagram in January following her time on Strictly.
Sharing a picture of her beautiful diamond ring and the words, “I said Yes!” written on her hand, she wrote: “Smiling as I type this because it was the best day ever in Paris and so unexpected. My soul mate and my love asked me something that I could only have dreamt of.”
She added: “Being in love is one of the most magical feelings life has to offer. So grateful for this amazing man in my life who has supported my family and I through so much.”
The moment was tinged with some sadness though as Alexandra admitted she missed being able to share the happy news with her mum, who died last summer.
She wrote: “Something so amazing honestly felt so overwhelming because there was only one person I wanted to call when it happened. I know she is smiling and very happy for us both – because little did I know she knew about it.”

Alexandra and Joshua, a stage manager, have been dating since April 2016 and certainly weren’t affected by the so-called “Strictly curse” as their relationship is stronger than ever following her time on the show.
She danced with Gorka Marquez, who has since revealed he’s in a relationship with actress Gemma Atkinson who he met on the show.
