Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom’s relationship has rarely been out of the news lately, but the boxer’s latest tweet about the state of their marriage definitely pulls no punches.
Sharing a cute pic of himself alongside his 4 months pregnant wife (who appeared to be getting into the Christmas spirit a bit early with festive PJ set), the champion lightweight boxer revealed that despite all their probs, they are now very much back together.
“With my 4 month pregnant wife, after sorting out all the issues. Closing the year with a happy ending,” Amir wrote.

And although they might be ending the year on a high (‘tho there’s still time for things to change…) 2017 hasn’t exactly been an easy time for the pair, as they’ve lived out their own soap-style storylines in the papers and online.
First up, Faryal accused the sporting star of being unfaithful throughout their 4-year marriage, writing on social media that she was ‘always defending a cheat, always stuck around for him, always had his back’.
Then came explosive tweets from Amir accusing Faryal of cheating on him with another boxer, something he later said he knew wasn’t true.
At some point during the conflicts though, the pair, who are already parents to 3-year-old daughter Lamaisah, managed to stop rowing for long enough to conceive their second child together – which by our reckoning, must have been around July time.
However, come August, the pair were trading blows again, and Amir took to Twitter to announce they were splitting for good, and even recorded a Snapchat video to confirm his account had not been hacked.
“Everything you saw on social media it is real. Me and Faryal have decided to move on and walk away. Nothing has been hacked,” he said. Blimey…
But fast forward to the autumn, and the couple appear to have had a change of heart, with Faryal being spotted out and about rocking her rather bling-tastic wedding and engagement rings.
