Amy Childs has been praised by fans after taking extra precautions when it comes to her five-month-old daughter Polly’s health and safety.
The former TOWIE star has been a doting mum ever since she gave birth to her first child in April.

And now Amy has undertaken a first aid course to ensure she’s fully prepared when it comes to her little girl’s well-being.
Taking to Instagram to post a photo from her lesson, the 27-year-old urged fellow parents to follow her lead and brush up on their first aid skills.
She captioned the snap: “I did an amazing Daisy First Aid parent class today, only took 2 hours of my time.
“I learnt so much from how to put a baby in the recovery position, how to deal with fevers, head injuries, meningitis as well as baby resuscitation & CPR and choking.
“EVERY parent needs to do one!!”
Amy’s fans certainly agreed, with dozens praising the star for raising awareness of the importance of first aid and being proactive about protecting her daughter’s safety.
One wrote: “A fantastic idea and invaluable if you are a parent.”
Another follower said: “Well done Amy. I hope you never need to use any of what you’ve learnt, but it’s always there if ever you did.”
A third fan added: “Well done Amy, this is such an important message to promote.”
And a fourth agreed: “Love this! 100% agree every parent should do this.”
Amy gave birth to Polly on April 30 – and has been taking to motherhood like a duck to water!
So much so, she’s found herself up for a Celebrity Mum of the Year Award against the likes of Cheryl and Kate Middleton!
A chuffed Amy said this week: “So pleased to have made the shortlist for Celeb Mum of the Year! Would love if you guys could vote for me too!”
Sadly, Amy split from Polly’s dad, Bradley Wright, just six weeks after the tot’s arrival.
In an interview with OK! magazine afterwards, she suggested the novelty of having a child had worn off quickly for Bradley and claimed she became “more like a friend and his mum” than partner.

Bradley, meanwhile, said he’d simply been exhausted after working all day, and suggested it was hard adjusting to not being Amy’s priority anymore.
Meanwhile, Amy has said she won’t be rushing into a new romance.
Writing in her New magazine column, she said: “Some people have said they hope I find someone, but I’m in no rush. I’d rather me and Brad be supportive of each other and he be a good dad to Polly.”
Wise words.
