Andrea McLean broke down in tears as she revealed a secret trauma from her past during Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins last night.
The Loose Women presenter took part in the Channel 4 charity special as she took on a string of mentally and physically gruelling tasks alongside fellow celebrities to raise funds for Stand Up To Cancer.
And Andrea was overcome with emotion when she was taken into the interrogation room after being shouted at by former solider Ant Middleton during the tasks.

After Ant branded her “fragile”, Andrea admitted: “I’m very scared. I’m not very good at getting shouted at just because of things that have happened before.
“I’ve put it away very nicely in a box. I’m very happy now and I was fine and then as soon as… [I got shouted at] it was like a tsunami of just ‘don’t mess up’.
“I feel like I’m falling at the first hurdle.”
Andrea didn’t go into detail about the personal trauma, but Ant had some advice for her.
He said: “That’s [expletive] baggage you’re carrying around, not a [expletive] box. You have to [expletive] deal with it.
“We’re not shouting at you to be [expletive], we’re shouting at you because we’re passionate about you learning.
“I see this as a positive, not a negative. I’m very happy you’ve opened up like this. Let some of those demons out of that [expletive] box.”
Andrea recently opened up about her stint on the show and revealed her beloved dog died on the day she departed the show.
Speaking about returning home after the seven-day process in Chile, the presenter told Metro online: “It really did impact me actually when I got back because you land back to reality, and it sounds like such a small thing but actually it was huge, the day I got out my dog died.”

She added: “My dog is a huge part of my life, and dealing with that over the phone, calming down the children, sorting them out, and walking into the house and the dog that I’d had throughout, to open the door and he wasn’t there, I was dealing with that as well. So there was a whole lot going on in my head.”
Andrea was joined by other celebrities including presenter Jeff Brazier and Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton as they competed to see if they have what it takes to pass SAS standards.
She also said she was motivated to do the show “for menopausal women everywhere to show actually we can still do this”.
