She’s known for her very honest and open style of presenting, and no airs-and-graces personality.
And Andrea McLean’s hilarious New Year’s Day Instagram video proved once again she really is just like the rest of us…
Sharing a video of her dining table groaning under the weight of pizza, indulgent ice cream, fizzy drink and what looked like Champagne, Andrea very publicly admitted that she’d fallen at the first hurdle where her New Year’s resolutions were concerned.

Just like many of us, Andrea and her family had obviously started 2018 with the very best of intentions – and certainly her choice of hashtags would suggest the recently married mum of two was going hardcore with her plans to cut back.
Tagging the video with #newyearsresolution, #dryjanuary, #diet and #startagaintomorrow, the Loose Women presenter went for a very honest caption for the clip.
She wrote: “So… That went well.”

Her followers were quick to sympathise with the star, with one wisely telling her: “Never start on New Year’s Day” and another advising her no one should ever begin their healthy eating regime on the 1st because “there are still the orange cream in Quality Street to finish”.
(Quite right, too)
Others ‘fessed up that they were doing exactly the same thing…
“Same… bottle of red, half a packet of nuts and chocolate log & cream,” wrote one of her followers, with another admitting: “Snap – just finished ours.”
“So great to see you are ‘normal’ like us Andrea,” wrote a third, with one woman chipping in with a sage: “Dry January starts when the kids go back to school!”
Andrea’s New Year’s celebrations come just a month after her wedding to third husband, businessman Nick Feeney.
The pair tied the knot in November, after Andrea announced on Loose Women in August that Nick had proposed in Paris the week before, and that they were now engaged.
And nothing spells out happy and relaxed and content with your life than a big ol’ table full of chill out food, right?
