Emmerdale fans are convinced Andy Sugden is going to return now that his daughter Sarah is in such dire straits.
The schoolgirl has been told her heart is failing and that she desperately needs a donor, but also that she is too weak to survive the operation.
And now they think it is the right time for Andy to make a sensational comeback to support his daughter.
He was last seen fleeing the village in 2016 after being framed for shooting Lawrence White by his daughter Chrissie.
One wrote: “Andy has to come back now! His daughters dying! #emmerdale”

Another added: “@emmerdale @emmerdale @ITV if you don’t bring back Andy Sugden for Sarah then you have Failed us as viewers and I we’ll never watch the show Sarah needs her dad and he needs to come bck.”
On Friday Debbie sobbed as the doctor broke the news that her daughter’s heart was failing, and that she wouldn’t be able to have a transplant.
He said: “Her condition has deteriorated significantly I’m afraid.
“Our priority now is getting her a new heart and moving her onto the urgent list.”
He added: “I’m so sorry. I know it’s devastating news.
“I’m very sorry but we can’t proceed with the transplant until he virus is out of her system, so that means not moving her onto the urgent list just yet.”
And even as Debbie and Joe Tate begged him to put her on the list, he couldn’t and explained that the virus made her too weak to cope with the operation.
He said: “She’s weak and her immune system has already been compromised with the amount of treatment she’s had.
“She has to be strong enough to withstand the operation and the recovery.”
This means that Debbie is facing the very real prospect of her daughter dying at such a young age.
And fans were utterly heartbroken by the scenes.
One wrote: “I’m not a Debbie fan but I don’t want her to lose a child. No one deserves that. This was one sad episode #Emmerdale”

A second said: “Just want to give Sarah a cuddle #emmerdale”
Some soap fans have already began predicting where that heart might come from, with many thinking Ross Barton might save the schoolgirl’s life.
One predicted: “Ross will die and Sarah will get his heart.”
