Before they became the presenter legends that they are today, and after they’d gained fame as actors in Byker Grove, Ant and Dec dabbled in the music world as rappers.
Many of us did, indeed, watch them wreck the mic (psyche) with hits such as Let’s Get Ready To Rumble.
Even younger fans will be aware of this, as the duo performed this on the last run of Saturday Night Takeaway.
But now the boys are about to hit new heights of music success – joining Take That!
Since the departure of Robbie Williams and Jason Orange, the boy band – should we say, man band – has been a three-piece.
And, let’s face it, it’s just not been the same.
The Geordie boys are sure to inject some renewed energy and charm into the line-up.
Sadly it’s only for a one-off appearance – on this weekend’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Dec reveals: “They have lost two members over the years so they might get two new ones this Saturday night. We have been rehearsing our dance steps for Pray.”
Ant added: “The dance steps are very tough on the knees, I will tell you that. We need knee pads.”
Meanwhile, the man-boys have talked about the end of the series show, which will take place at Walt Disney World in Florida.
Dec admits they are worried about the different conditions, though.
“The big problem we have got this year is apparently the heat and the humidity because we are on at 3pm in the afternoon Florida time and apparently it is red hot,” he admitted to the Mirror.
“It is all the people behind the scenes who are incredibly stressed about it, but if it goes wrong it makes it a bit more fun in a way.
Ant chimed in: “It is going to be hot with the beard… I am hot now.”
Whatever happens, Ant MUST NOT shave off that beard of his! He’s never looked sexier…
