Former Corrie star Bruno Langley has spoken of his shame after admitting to sexually assaulting two women in a Manchester nightclub.
He told The Sunday Mirror he has kicked drinking and started going to AA meetings.
And he has vowed to change his life after being given a 12-month community order, and being sacked from Coronation Street since the assaults.
“I am ashamed of myself. I’m truly sorry. I sincerely apologise to the women from the bottom of my heart,” Bruno said in a brutally honest interview.
“I promise I will never do anything like that again.”

“I accept my punishment because I know what I did was wrong. I’m not trying to attribute blame to anyone else other than myself.”
Bruno told the newspaper he’d been drinking excessively on the night of the assaults. He said he’d woken up drunk after a wedding the day before and simply carried on boozing with friends.
He said he didn’t even remember what had happened in the nightclub until a friend texted him the next day.

“They explained my behaviour,” he said. “I was embarrassed, shocked by my actions.”
Bruno was sacked by Coronation Street bosses after the incident, leaving his acting career in doubt.
And he was charged by police and has now had to sign the sexual offenders register.
Bruno, who has a 10-year-old son, said he is now focusing on his boy as he tries to put his life back together.
“If I didn’t have a beautiful boy that needed me I’d be worried about how I’d get myself back,” he said.
“The only way I can prove how sorry I am to everyone involved is to make changes to my life and work on myself, to ensure this will never happen again.
“I wouldn’t let my son down again.”
Bruno is still on screen as Todd Grimshaw in Corrie at the moment.
But viewers will soon see Todd go on the run as he is accused of hitting a police officer.
