But as Eamonn Holmes introduced him onto the show, the host made an embarrassing gaffe.

The 57-year-old presenter introduced the soap newbie as a former Blue Peter star – before co-host Ruth Langsford quickly corrected him.
Eamonn immediately apologising for the awkward blunder Lee, who plays Woody Woodward on the soap, didn’t seem fazed by the mistake.
He said: “Don’t worry, all good.
“I do actually have a Blue Peter badge.”
And it definitely didn’t go unnoticed by viewers watching from home.
Writing on Twitter one said: “Hahaha Eamonn saying Lee Ryan is from blue peter #ThisMorning.”
“Want to try that one again @EamonnHolmes? #newvic #bluepeter #ThisMorning,” another tweeted.

But it seems some viewers didn’t notice the slip up and were much more interested in praising Lee for his Easties performance.
One wrote: “Having @OfficialLeeRyan on the tv so much at the moment is making my days! Lee you are doing amazingly! #EastEnders #ThisMorning #proud.”
“Love seeing my boy @OfficialLeeRyan on my screen love him so much #ThisMorning,” another gushed.
It was revealed recently that Lee was first offered a role on EastEnders when he was 16 years old.
Speaking to The Sun: “When I was 16 [EastEnders casting executive] Julia rang my mum and said she had a part for me on EastEnders, and my mum said, ‘Sorry he’s just joined a band and signed to EMI.”
But now 33-years-old the singer is the newest “bad boy” resident of Albert Square.
As he spoke to hosts Eamonn and Ruth, Lee revealed: “He’s not really a bad boy. He’s not. He’s more sensitive actually.
“You’ll see it as he continues with his journey.”
