Bad news craft fans, the BBC has apparently canned The Great Pottery Throw Down.
It seems a pretty weird decision, given the programme – fronted by Sara Cox – has become a firm favourite with fans over its two series.

In fact, last March, when it last appeared on screen, it was the most-watched show on BBC2, with an audience of 3.4million… over-taking even Top Gear.
However, the prime-time series was the brainchild of Made by Love, the same company behind The Great British Bake Off.
This has led to some speculation that The Great Pottery Throw Down, which first aired in 2015, has become a casualty in the fall-out from Bake Off’s defection to Channel 4 last year. Diddums!
A source told The Sun: “They’re not thinking about the viewers in making this decision, it’s just a way to get revenge after what happened with Bake Off.
“Nobody is in any doubt over why they’ve done it. It’s a real shame.”
