BBC’s Doctor Who has had to cut a scene from an upcoming episode as it had a reference to terrorism.
Following the attack that happened on Monday night, the BBC made the decision to edit out a conversation about the subject.
The Manchester attack killed 22 people and left many seriously injured after a suicide bomber detonated a nail bomb in the foyer of the MEN arena after Ariana Grande’s concert.

A statement said: “Following the tragic events in Manchester, we have made a small edit to this week’s episode of Doctor Who.”
The episode is called The Pyramid at the End of the World and follows the Doctor as he finds a 5,000-year-old pyramid located between China, Russian and the United States.
This comes as BBC Worldwide has just announced that Doctor Who will run until at least Series 15.
Ratings had been low, but there are no plans to cut the show.
There have been many changes to TV shows after the Manchester bombing.
Anna Friel and Sean Bean’s new BBC series Broken was pushed back.

It was due to air on Tuesday, but the BBC aired an episode of David Attenborough’s Planet Earth II instead.
The BBC released a statement: “Following last night’s tragic events in Manchester, BBC1’s new drama series Broken will not start tonight as planned but has been rescheduled for next Tuesday 30 May”.
Morning shows such as Going Back, Giving In and Homes Under the Hammer were also moved to BBC2 so BBC News could run a longer show and cover the details on the attack.
The Doctor Who episode is due to air on Saturday 27 May.
