David and Victoria Beckham are said to be clashing over her plans for their young daughter Harper.
Designer Posh is keen to turn Harper into a fashionista and style icon, but David’s not so keen, according to a source.
Apparently, Victoria, 44, has a masterplan to make seven-year-old Harper the next big thing in fashion.
An insider told Heat magazine: “Victoria is going way over the top. She’s really grooming Harper to be a fashionista, introducing her to beautiful clothes and putting her on the front row at her catwalk shows. Harper loves fashion and is always looking through magazines with her mum.
“Vic has always dreamed about being able to hand her fashion brand over to her daughter one day, and she’s hopeful that by the time Harper is 21, she can take over the reins.”
However, the insider adds that David isn’t totally onboard with Victoria’s hopes for Harper. The couple also have sons Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, and 14-year-old Cruz.
They continued: “He’s always been protective of the children, especially Harper, as she’s his only daughter. He wants her to remain a little girl for as long as possible, and feels Vic is sometimes making her grow up too fast. If David had his way, her hair would never have been cut and she would dress more like a girl her age.”

It comes after Victoria put Harper on the frow with David, 43, and her brothers at her London Fashion Week show, alongside US Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
And Harper caught all the attention for sporting a matching haircut to Anna – a short bob.

The Heat gossiper also claims that Victoria chose Harper’s style of cut because the former Spice Girl “idolises” Anna.
