Abby Cohen well and truly became a victim of the Strictly Come Dancing curse.
The ex-wife of rugby player Ben Cohen was left heartbroken after he dumped her for dance partner Kristina Rihanoff.
Ben was paired up with the blonde beauty in the BBC show in 2013, and his marriage to Abby broke down very publicly.

It has also recently been reported that wedding bells could await him and Kristina.
Now Abby has shared a message to her fans and said that she’s had the “toughest few years” of her life.
The 38-year-old took to Twitter on Christmas Eve and said: “Happy Christmas to all my amazing friends & family. I want to thank you all for your ongoing support throughout undoubtedly the toughest few years of my life…2017 is upon us, so fulfill your dreams, ambitions and make them real…! I am for sure…Merry Christmas lovely people”
It’s very obvious that the message refers to her past with 38-year-old Ben.
It seems Abby is feeling empowered and wants to make 2017 a good one!
The pair of them first met way back in 1995, at the age of 17, and they then got married in 2003 before having their twin daughters, Harriette and Isabelle in 2008.
Abby posted her Twitter update just hours before Ben revealed his plans to marry 39-year-old Kristina.

He told Hello! magazine: “I imagine we will get married at some point.
“Having a baby later on in life, we were both very set in our ways so it has been a big change for both of us.”
The pregnancy came as a massive shock to Kristina who said on This Morning: “I had a tour planned, my own show after Strictly. But clearly the universe had other things planned as it all worked out differently.”
