Ben, 42, wrote: “Sneaky night out with Mrs S view was surprisingly impressive – sunset wasn’t bad either 😜! Just after this pic we had to pull a black lab out of the river who was struggling.
“The dog was jubilant once back on dry land, sadly Annie’s phone dropped into the river mid rescue. The owner had no idea!!! #sunset#datenight #nightout #river #deadphone #dogrescue.”
Fans were left gushing over the sweet selfie and praised them for their efforts. One wrote: “Gorgeous looking couple!”
“Well done Ben & Mrs S! This once happened to my🐶 too. Superheroes don’t always wear capes. 👏”, said another.

One fan added: “Gorgeous photo, that was one hell of a good deed for the day, good on ya!”
The Good Morning Britain host recently sent fans wild after sharing another rare photo of him enjoying some quality family time with his son Jack.
The snap shows Jack learning some valuable cooking skills as he baked a cake.
“Jack doing his best Bake off audition. All looking good so far only moments from the clear up carnage! #family#cakes #bakeoff #kidscook,” Ben wrote.
The host rarely shares photos of his personal life and his family but when he does they are always super sweet.
Last month Ben shared a pic of his two boys and his other half enjoying a family day out.
In the snap the trio are seen walking and wearing matching outfits.
He wrote: “Hard to believe these two are my little boys! #boys #sons #grownups.”

The Essex-born presenter recently spoke about how he had to cut his working hours down as he felt like he was “grumpy” and his health was being affected.
He told the Daily Mail: “Something had to give. The year before I’d done a huge series of Tipping Point and that was brutal.
“I was up at 3am for Good Morning Britain and not getting home until 6pm four or five days a week. Then I was working on Sundays for Sky.
“I was constantly shattered and it was Annie, Sam and Jack who suffered because the best of me was when I was at work.
“The only way forward was to cut back, but giving something up was really hard. It’s tough for anyone who’s freelance. It doesn’t matter whether you’re on TV or you’re an electrician or plumber.”
He added: “I was tired, our lifestyle was struggling and the boys were suffering because they weren’t getting the best of me. The best was always at work as I was up first thing in the morning and had to deliver on air.”
