BGT contestant warned over sexist and racially insensitive tweets

The teen has come under fire for making derogatory comments

| Updated:

Britain’s Got Talent bosses have warned Ali Rasul after he made racially sensitive and sexist remarks online.

The dancer performed on Tuesday night’s show with dance partner and girlfriend Grace Durkin, but lost out in last night’s semi-final.

But Ali has posted many tweets that would be deemed highly offensive by people reading them.

He is only 16, but has had a telling off from producers after calling women offensive names and even posted a photo of a black woman with “Black Friday” as the caption.

A source said: “Ali’s behaviour online has been inappropriate at times.

“He’s supposed to be representing BGT but instead is setting an extremely bad example for his young fans.

“Producers were not happy when they saw he had posted such an inflammatory picture on his Twitter as well as a host of disparaging comments about women.

The teenager’s Twitter account is full of mean comments.

In one, he wrote: “Hate it how periods, all they do is moan and take there mood out on you.”

Another said: “Hate it how lasses stick there arses out on photos just to get more likes #slags. Like if they had a nice a** they wouldn’t stick it out.”

Ali has also appeared in Dance Mums with Jennifer Ellison in 2015, and Alesha Dixon’s show called Alesha’s Street Dance Stars.

A source has also said: “Ali is a teenage boy with many social media accounts but would never wish to cause offence with any of his posts.

“He recognises that one snapchat screen shot in particular was inappropriate and BGT have reprimanded him for that.

“Like many teenagers he made a mistake but has learnt from it.”

Let’s hope so!
