Singer Billie Eilish made up a care package for a teenage fan who had lost her merch in the LA wildfires, but Meghan Markle who helped set up the gift has been slammed by a body language expert for her video on the matter.
The Duchess of Sussex shared the story on social media, and has been accused of name-dropping high profile celebrities in the video about the teen.

Billie Eilish replaces teen fans’ merch ruined by LA Wildfires after Meghan Markle’s plea
The 23-year-old, who hasn’t met the teen, went above and beyond after hearing the girl had lost her home in the devastating fires.
She sent a robust care package of clothing, merchandise, as well as a signed record for the 15-year-old, who previously had only bought a t-shirt while attending a concert.
Meghan Markle explained how she had met the girl when she was visiting Altadena with her husband, Prince Harry, following the wildfires.
In a bid to try and help her out, she contacted Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, Meghan explained, as she doesn’t know the singer.
In the video, posted on her new Instagram account, Meghan said: “About two or three weeks ago, when my husband and I were in Altadena, we went to a community where all the homes were left in ashes.
“This mum had found a couple of things and as I was talking to her, I turned and looked and I saw this young woman. I asked her, ‘How old are you?’ She’s 15, and her mum shared with me that when they came back to see their house for the first time, all that she had been looking for was the T-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert that she had just gone to.”
She then sent a voice note to her contacts hoping there was a way to connect with the Grammy-award-winning artist.
Meghan adds in the clip: “You guys! I don’t even know what all this stuff means. But it’s signed for her!”
43-year-old Meghan Markle says: “Huge thank you, Billie Eilish. This is going to mean so much to her. And honestly, to Adam Levine and Behati – you guys helped get this over the line.”
Meghan Markle’s body language slammed for being ‘fake’

However, the kind gesture has come under fire for how the royal has announced it to the world.
Body language expert Darren Stanton told Royal Insider on behalf of JeffBet that Meghan Markle’s approach was ‘ungenuine’ and ‘fake at times’ in the footage where she’s talking about Billie Eilish’s gesture.
He explained: “She’s not wearing makeup and that’s what people do to make themselves seem more approachable and normal.
“There’s not a single shot or video I’ve seen since she started dating Harry where she’s been this natural looking. Her body language is so far removed from her baseline.”
Darren went on to add she appeared ‘defensive’ when she folded her arms and tried to appear as a ‘normal person’ for having contact with someone famous.

Fans react to ‘cringe’ video
It doesn’t help that fans have accused the royal of name-dropping A-list celebrities in the clip.
One Twitter (X) user wrote: “This is the cringest video yet. Why would she post a video of this? To brag about her “charity” in getting a signed tshirt for a girl that lost all of her belongings. This feels so off. Who does this?”
Another added: “She used Billie for PR. That’s what this is and what she does. Anything to keep Meghan in the headlines.”
While a third said: “Billie Eilish has not make it public that she was donating, why did Meghan think she had the right to publicise it?”
But others came in defence of the duchess.
A fan wrote: “What a wonderful thing to do for someone else. Kindness and compassion is the way to lead. Sometimes it the little things in life.”
“Oh I love this,” penned another, and someone else agreed, calling the gesture “so sweet”.
