We’ve seen Emmerdale fan favourite Liv Flaherty having a terrible time recently – but it seems things are going to get worse for the troubled teen.
According to some new Emmerdale spoilers released for this spring, things aren’t going to improve for Liv any time soon – and she will turn to drink in an attempt to numb her pain.
This sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Liv’s been struggling since she confessed to best mate Gabby that she didn’t fancy boys or girls and wasn’t sure if she ever would. It was an emotional and difficult moment for the teenager – and won a lot of fans’ hearts.
But later Gabby got the wrong end of the stick when she saw Liv hug Jacob and she took nasty revenge – tattooing skank across Liv’s back and posting photos online.
Back in the autumn, Emmerdale boss Iain MacLeod promised a huge storyline for Liv – and this is just the beginning.

According to the spoilers, the trouble begins with a prank with Gabby (how did we guess she’d be involved?!) that gets out of hand very quickly.
Liv ends up in serious trouble and she turns to drink to blot out the consequences of her actions.
“Isobel Steele, who plays Liv, is super-talented and a rare find, and we will be exploring the limits of her acting talent to the extreme,” said Iain.

“Her storyline is going to be quite big and dark in places, but I have no doubt that she will smash it.”
Liv’s already got a taste for booze – could she take it too far and plunge into full-blown alcoholism? And can anyone in the village help her if she does?
