Bradley Walsh can’t stop laughing at rude question on The Chase

We're sure the producers do it deliberately!

Bradley Walsh creased up in laughter yesterday, when a contestant was asked a rather rude question on The Chase.

The host was seen clutching his sides and barely containing his amusement during Tuesday’s show (19 February).

The hour-long quiz show appeared to start as normal when Bradley introduced Rafe, Liz, Sue and John – who all hoped to take on chaser Anne Hegerty and win.

However, when Liz took her turn to face The Governess, things took a rather ‘Carry On’ turn…

And we’re sure producers slip in these question to make Bradley crack up!

The question that caused Bradley to dissolve into guffaws was: “The knob-headed giant gecko is native to what continent?”

Liz revealed she had no idea, but guessed Australia, over the other multiple-choice answers Asia and Africa.

Bradley couldn’t resist asking Liz if she’d “ever seen one?” before collapsing into laughter.

“No,” she replied, “but I really want it to be [right].”

Luckily for Liz, her guess was correct, leading to her and Bradley laughing their heads off and sharing a high-five.

But chaser Anne was stoney-faced after wrongly answering Africa.

Bradley and Liz weren’t the only ones who found the question hilarious, with many viewers at home also commenting on the cheeky question.

One joked: “Knob-head giant gecko… You’d see that one coming.”

Another said: “Did somebody mention knob on TV before the watershed?”

A third simply called the question “unreal”.

Sadly for Liz, she was eventually defeated and did not join the rest of her teammates to take on the last round.

In the end, only John and Sue’s faced The Governess in the Final Chase for £9,000, but they lost out.
