Pop star Lily Allen has branded Piers Morgan a “bully” live on Channel 4, just days after a furious Twitter spat.
The singer was chatting to Sunday Brunch hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer today, promoting her single No Shame, when she laid in to the Good Morning Britain anchor.
It comes after Lily, 33, accused Piers of cancelling a planned appearance on his ITV breakfast show to plug her new album after the pair locked horns on social media over a machine-gun necklace she has been wearing for a decade.

She said in an online video that Piers had cancelled the interview, sparking a second war of words between the two.
Sunday Brunch presenter Tim asked the mum-of-two: “When you’re doing PR and you end up in a Twitter spat say, like you had one this week with Piers Morgan, is that good thing or a bad thing?”
Lily replied: “People like Piers Morgan like to bully and humiliate publicly. I don’t really want to stand for it.”
She added that she spent “way too much time” on social media, up to five hours a day.

But the pop star insisted Twitter was a force for good and said: “It is where I get most of my news from, where I converse with my fans, where I read about other artists.
“Social media enables people to have a right to respond for the first time.”
Asked whether she found criticism from strangers hurtful, Lily said: “I guess so.
“People form an opinion about you based on the opinions of other people and it’s frustrating, but it’s not something I can change.”
Viewers took to Twitter themselves to voice their support for Lily.

Last week, the singer attacked Piers on Twitter for cancelling her GMB interview in the wake of the pair’s public spat over her gun-shaped necklace.

She told her followers that it was not her decision to pull out, adding: “No! Of course not! What? You think I’m scared of Piers Morgan?
“Anyway, that message went back and I just got the news that I was cancelled because Piers don’t want that smoke!”

Piers then responded by retweeting her video the reply: “Hi Lily, I told the team I wouldn’t interview you until or if your new album is a hit. So, probably never. Sorry to disappoint, love Piers. x”
The row escalated from there as the celebrities traded insults.
