Strictly Come Dancing star Ruth Langsford has been mocked by her followers on Instagram over her latest outfit.
The presenter wore a berry Helene Berman crepe jacket with frilled sleeves paired with a white shirt and black trousers.
But fans weren’t keen on the look and said the Loose Women star looked “frumpy”.

Ruth, 57, uploaded a clip explaining that she was getting ready to go on air for her fashion edit on QVC.
She captioned the post: “Girl’s night in….me, @kablerjackie our gorgeous models & you! @qvcuk 9.00 – 10.00 pm Hope you can join us.”
Some fans quite liked the look with one gushing: “Looking gorgeous Ruth! As always.”

But others branded the jacket “awful” and said it didn’t suit the star.
One wrote: “Is it me or does it look like a vicar’s robe?”
“The mauve coat is awful,” another added.
A third said: “Too frumpy and typical of age geared too.”
“Looks frumpy,” another commented.
One follower said: “Too gaudy colours and sleeves very unflattering.”
Another said the look “aged” her.
Ruth is currently starring on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing and made her debut on the show last weekend.
The Loose Women panellist showed off her dancing skills for the first time but didn’t seem to wow judge Craig Revel Horwood.
Ruth had been building up and preparing for her debut on the show for the past few months.
The Loose Women panellist looked amazing as she and dance partner Anton Du Beke took to the dance floor for their Waltz routine to This Nearly Was Mine by Seth MacFarlane.
But their routine failed to impress Craig and the pair ended up at the bottom of the leader board.
On the night Craig told Ruth: “It really was the stumble and grab dance for me. Hopefully you’ll do better next week, darling.”
Ruth appeared upset over the comment as she said: “I tried, Craig, I tried.”
Despite not wowing the judges Ruth certainly gained the support from her fans and hubby Eamonn Holmes.
Eamonn, also 57, shared a snap of him and Ruth at the Strictly set as he said: “She did her best but she couldn’t beat her nerves.
“I love her so much. Time to bring her home time. #Strictly.”

Her fans also defended the star. One commented on Eamonn’s post: “You should be very proud of her – she looked beautiful and gave it her all.”
