Brian McFadden has said there are “no bad vibes” between himself and his ex-wife Kerry Katona.
The pair split back in 2006 after four years of marriage and they share two daughters – Molly, 16, and 15-year-old Lilly-Sue.
In a new interview with Reveal magazine, former Westlife singer Brian opened up about his relationship with the former Atomic Kitten singer.

When asked if he and Kerry are friends, Brian said: “She’s the mother of my kids, so we have a relationship for them.
“We share custody. No bad vibes there, we just get on with our own lives. We’ll never be best friends.”
Brian’s comments come after Kerry said it “feels good” to finally be on amicable terms with Brian following their long-running spat.
The star told Reveal earlier this year that it took them “many years to get where we are today”.
“He was the love of my life, Brian. I’m not going to deny it,” she said. “I was devastated when we split up.
“It’s taken us so many years to get to where we are today.”
Back in December, Brian and his girlfriend Danielle Parkinson had supported Kerry in panto.
Kerry and Danielle even posed for a photo backstage, with Brian posting it to social media with the funny caption: “When the love of your life meets your evil ex-wife.”
Speaking about Brian’s decision to support her, Kerry continued: “If I was still with [ex-husband] George [Kay] and Brian had wanted to come to [see me in] the panto, there’d have been uproar.
“It was nice for me to be stood there with Brian and his girlfriend. It feels good to get along. ”
After Kerry’s split from Brian, she went on to wed taxi driver Mark Croft, who is father of her daughter Heidi, 11, and son Max, 10, and then childhood friend George Kay, who is the dad to her daughter DJ, four.
Kerry and George split last year.
She went on to briefly romance Scottish reality TV star and comedian James English, but they split after just two months of dating.
Last month, mum-of-five Kerry joked that she’s “on the lookout” for husband number four.

She told the Daily Star: “I’m on the lookout for husband number four before my career seizes up as, let’s be honest, if I didn’t get married or divorced I wouldn’t have a career!”
After admitting that online dating hadn’t worked out for her, Kerry said she wants a man who can ‘make me laugh…laugh my knickers off’.
Meanwhile, Brian is loved up with Danielle and their romance seems to be going from strength to strength.
