Fans have praised Brian McFadden’s honesty after he revealed he has had a hair transplant.
Westlife star Brian shared the news with his army of 100,000 Instagram followers before mysteriously deleting the post hours later.
Meanwhile on Twitter his surgical team at KSL UK shared the results of the op, with the caption: “What a day, what a guy and what a result this will be @BrianMcFadden is a true gent and a good friend.”
Brian, 37, told his Instagram followers: “The last few years my hair line has been thinning and receding due to my lifestyle and the general stresses we go through in life.
“It’s been really making me self-conscious and uncomfortable so I decided to do something about it.”

After the op the Irish singer-songwriter revealed he was “so pleased I finally done something about it”, before posting a mocked-up joke ‘result’, captioning a long-haired doll picture: “Wow. That was quick!”
He told fans: “People should not be embarrassed about getting your hair done. It’s just moving hair from the back of your head to the front.”
Fans praised his honesty, replying: “Well done for being honest abt it some celebs come back with a whole new hair line and are like what there’s nothing going on here.”
Brian recently relocated to Rochdale to be with girlfriend Danielle Parkinson, a PE teacher he started dating in 2016.
He confirmed their relationship in November 2016, a year after splitting with second wife Vogue Williams, saying: “I like a person for who they are, not what they do or where they’re from.”
He also said she makes him feel “very mature”.
Hopefully his new head of hair will make him feel the opposite.
