Every bride deserves to be the centre of attention on their big day – someone else taking the shine off her is unthinkable.
Poor Pippa Middleton had more to worry about than most when it came to the risk of being outshone.
Her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge is, of course, the most photographed woman in the country – if not the world.
And after Pippa’s pert posterior got so much attention at her wedding, who could have blamed Kate for wanting a little payback.
Of course, she’s too classy for all that carry on and sweetly opted for a very under-stated outfit to allow her sister to own her special day.
The other big limelight-stealing threat was Prince Harry’s stunning girlfriend Meghan Markle.
The word’s press were chomping at the bit to get the perfect picture of the couple – who are rumoured to be not too far from a wedding of their own.
However, it looked as though the American actress shied away from the ceremony proper to allow Pippa her moment.

But there was another little lady who managed to steal the coos – Pippa’s niece Charlotte.
All eyes were on the little royal munchkin as she tottered out of the car in all her wedding finery.
She appeared to have taken charge of proceedings – among the little people – leading the pack of page boys and flower girls to the church.
The two-year-old Princess looked adorable in her little white dress and camel-coloured sash bow combo.

Meanwhile, big brother George – a page boy, of course – seemed transfixed by the newlyweds’ kiss outside the church.
We’re sure Pippa won’t mind one bit that her lovely little niece stole a bit of her thunder!
