Declan Donnelly and wife Ali have been inundated with congratulatory messages following the happy news they’re expecting their first child.
But among those well-wishes have been a few cheeky jokes!
One such joke came from Dec’s Britain’s Got Talent co-star David Walliams, who couldn’t resist making a quip about Dec’s 5ft 5in height!

David, who is a judge on the show hosted by Ant & Dec, tweeted: “One thing Dec should be concerned about is that at just six months old his baby is going to be bigger than he is.”
Oh, David!
Fans found the comment – clearly made in friendly banter – hilarious, with one replying: “Hahahahaha made me spit my tea out amazing.”
Another said: “Oh David……and this is only the beginning.”
A third quipped: “Are you sure?Might be bigger than him from the day the baby is born.”
Others, however, didn’t find it that funny, with one saying it was an “unkind” remark and another tweeting: “That’s not very funny. Cheap shot.”
David wasn’t the only celebrity reacting to Dec and Ali’s happy baby news.
They also received well-wishes from celeb pals including Cat Deeley, Rochelle Humes and Davina McCall.
Dec’s former SM:TV co-star Cat, who is pregnant with her second child, tweeted: “Congratulations! Lovely news…. three is the magic number.”
Mum of two Rochelle added: “Beyond happy for you and Ali.”
And Davina, who has three children, said: “Aww! Great news you guys!”
