Britian’s Got Talent star arrested on suspicion of growing cannabis

Factory was discovered at a property owned by Stavros Flatley dancer

One half of Britain’s Got Talent legends Stavros Flatley has been arrested over an alleged cannabis factory that has been found at a flat he owns.

According to reports, police stumbled across marijuana plants worth £56,000 in a north London property of dancer Lagi Demetriou, 20.

They had been alerted by fire teams after neighbours had called them in when water started dripping into their home from the flat upstairs.

When they arrived at the empty apartment, they discovered 420 cannabis plants, and the source of the leak was found to be from the watering system used for the alleged cannabis factory.

Lagi’s dance partner dad Demetri apparently broke down in tears at the news of his arrest.

However, while neither Lagi or his dad are yet to speak officially, a pal has said that Lagi doesn’t actually live at the flat that he bought several years as an investment.

Instead, he has a mate living at the house, and Lagi knows nothing about the cannabis-growing operation.

Lagi and Demetri were embraced by the British public after their show-stopping performance on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009.

They then turned the fourth placed-act into a lucrative business, which not only saw them perform in front of the Queen but also made them enough money to invest in various properties in the north London area.

When he’s not doing the Greek Riverdance, Lagi earns a crust as a barber.
