Fans took to Twitter in their droves to compliment TV presenter Carol Vorderman, saying she looked “gorgeous” in a new picture she uploaded to the site.
“You are an absolute style goddess Carol,” one tweeted after the former Countdown host took to the social network to share a smiling selfie.
“You always look fabulous, have wonderful hair, awesome clothes and just look gorgeous with your radiant smile #totallyinlove.”
Wearing a tight-fitting mustard top with snakeskin-print trousers from Zara, 58-year-old Carol certainly wasn’t short of admirers.

Another tweeted the star and said: “You look sensational. You clearly are arriving at that age now where (like me) you love life, nature and everything in this beautiful world.”
Carol responded to the fan and said: “I do love life.”
Posting the image, Carol revealed that she’d just got her hair done ahead going on holiday. She said: “Ahem… Getting hair done for trip to Bahrain for @F1 Grand Prix this weekend… #LoveLife.”

She added: “As a #petrolhead I can’t wait. See you in the Paddock @MercedesAMGF1 @LewisHamilton.’
Carol also revealed that while she was at James Roberts’ hair salon in Manchester, she had a bit of a blast from the past.
She tweeted: “Had a scream sitting next to 3 ladies from North Wales who knew my first ever boyfriend!!! LOLOLOL. Small world and a great one.”
Speaking late last year, Carol confirmed: “I am dating,” after her split from Red Arrows pilot Graham Duff just over two years ago.
She also told the Daily Mail: “I get up to a lot of mischief. I have a number of special friends – but I’m not doing anything wrong. Everyone’s single. And yes, apart from one, they’re all younger than me.”
The star has been married twice before and has two grown-up children, Katie and Cameron.
