TV favourite Carol Vorderman has given fans a rare glimpse of her family life after enjoying a big night out with her son.
Carol, 57, shared a snap earlier today with her near 400,000 followers on Twitter showing her giving 21-year-old Cameron a bear hug as they partied together.
And even though he seems to be partially hiding his face as he leans out of the huge embrace, there’s clearly no putting a proud Carol off.
“I love my life,” she tweeted as she explained a hectic Saturday of socialising had ended in a way familiar to many other late night revellers – with a restorative order of junk food.
Me and “Tall Son” Cameron last night #PartyTime …..we ended up in @McDonalds car park #Gloucester at 2am chomping on chicken nuggets and a mini McFlurry. So yesterday..Ascot daytime, a great black tie party evening, McDonalds early hours…..I love my life 😂😂❤️❤️ pic.twitter.com/SiWoCo7Lnu

Calling the towering Cameron her “Tall Son”, Carol noted: “We ended up in McDonald’s car park in Gloucester at 2am chomping on chicken nuggets and a mini McFlurry.”
The pic clearly delighted many of her followers, with several light-heartedly teasing Carol over her last stop before heading home after a long day.
“You know how to enjoy a glam night out,” commented Twitter user @bobwarans.
“Can’t beat McDonald’s in the early hours,” added @MaryJldn.
And @KellyReillyFans joked: “Dirty stop outs!”

Another fan found her son Cameron’s apparent awkwardness very relatable.
Detecting a hint of embarrassment in Cameron’s defensive pose, @stephenrivett remarked: “I get the same look from my daughter.”
Nonetheless, Carol clearly adores both of her children, despite not showing them off on a regular basis on social media.
She has previously shared pics of daughter Katie, 26, on Instagram – noting the close resemblance between her and her child as well as trumpeting Katie’s academic achievements at the University of Cambridge.
And although Cameron and Katie – whose father Carol separated from after ten years of marriage in 2000 – have largely stayed out of the spotlight, the former Countdown presenter opened up about her son’s struggles with dyslexia in 2015.
Revealing it was difficult to find a school able to educate him because Cameron’s needs were so specialised, Carol said she was overjoyed he would be continuing his studies at uni.
“There were times it was very hard, and I did worry about his future, but I knew with extra attention from me and lots of praise he would be OK,” she told The Sun.
Carol continued: “With a lot of encouragement he’s now doing well. He’s great. He’s 6ft 5in, very funny and so kind. And I’m so proud that he’s going to university in October.
“Although he had learning difficulties he still loved stories. And from a young age he had a majestic command of the English language because he listened to audio books and intelligent radio all the time. His vocabulary was incredible.”
