It seemed like everyone was partying last night as England beat Colombia on penalties to go through to the quarter finals of the World Cup in Russia.
And the cast of Coronation Street were loving the game as they gathered together to watch the match.
Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt, took a turn behind the camera last night, first filming an excited Brooke Vincent (aka Sophie Webster) as she got ready to watch the game.
Then she filmed herself and some of her co-stars watching the match. And she revealed that Daniel Brocklebank, who plays Billy the vicar, wasn’t a huge footie fan.

In the video, posted on Lucy’s Instagram Stories, Brooke asks Daniel what’s going on with the game and he just shakes his head – obviously none the wiser – as Brooke and Lucy laugh! Lucy captured his little bewildered face, and captioned the video ‘that head shake’ with laughing emojis.
But the really fun part starts as England line up to take their penalties. Lucy filmed herself and co-stars, including Brooke, Daniel, and Jack P Shepherd who plays David Platt, watching anxiously – and then celebrating as England win the match.
The crowd went wild as England scored their final penalty sending the team through to play Sweden in the quarter finals on Saturday!
The stars were all jumping for joy and celebrating madly, bouncing around and hugging each other. Lucy captured the whole thing on her Instagram video – and it’s definitely worth a watch. Look out for Mikey North, aka Gary Windass, in the background too.
Jack P Shepherd was wearing a personalised England shirt for the special occasion, and showed it off for his co-star Brooke’s camera.
He also captured the magic moment when England scored the winning penalty on his Insta Stories.
He filmed himself, full of nerves but remarkably steady of hand, watching the final shot and then celebrating gleefully as the ball hit the back of the net!

We reckon it’s almost as much fun watching the Corrie stars watching the game, as it was watching the game itself!
