Cat Deeley has landed the job of presenting a new show on Sky called Sing It, in her first UK TV job in three years.
Cat hasn’t presented a show on our screens since 2014 when she hosted Soccer Aid, and before that she was known for presenting So You Think You Can Dance on BBC.
She is happy to be returning to the small screen, saying: “I couldn’t be more excited about Sing It. I remember singing in choir when I was a kid and loving every minute.

“We have the very best performers on the show – they have no backing tracks and no instruments, just their own incredible voices and talent.
“The British a cappella scene is so exciting and I’m thrilled to be able to be a part of it.”
Sing It will consist of 30 groups going head to head, singing without backing music, over three rounds. The winner of the show will secure a record deal for one album as well as a Christmas single.
Cat recently confirmed an SM:TV Live reunion, and has also been in the US presenting shows including Big Star Little Star and the American version of So You Think You Can Dance.
She also made headlines last month after doctors told her she was “triple high risk” when it comes to having a baby, but that she longs to be a mum again. She has a son, Milo, with her husband, Irish comic Patrick Kielty.
Talking to The Mirror, the Brummy star said: “I would love some more. But I have got to get on with it if I do. When you go for your check-ups they call you a ‘geriatric mum’. That is the terminology they use, I swear. They say, ‘Ma’am, you are triple high risk’.”
She also confessed that although she loves being a mum, her baby son has made her anxious. She said: “I am awake all night listening out for him. I am checking he is breathing. I am depressed I will never sleep again.”
Cat got married to Patrick in 2012 in a secret ceremony in Italy.
