Catherine Tyldesley has revealed her horror after husband Tom Pitfield suggested she stick her hand down the toilet to unblock it.
The former Coronation Street actress shared a screengrab of a text conversation she’d had with Tom about their bathroom situation.
In the message, Catherine informed personal trainer Tom that their toilet was blocked.

His response? Fix it!

Tom texted back to Catherine: “Get your hand down there. Empty the paper into a plastic bag. Job done.”
Well, she was not amused!
Catherine’s screengrab revealed she replied to Tom with an unusual warning: “If you EVER want to see my boobs again you’ll retract that stupid suggestion. I’m a princess Tom. A PRINCESS. Ffs….”
A laughing Catherine, 34, shared the exchange to Instagram on Wednesday with the caption: “Christ… my husband is quite clearly deluded this morning … as IF.”

Many fans were quick to offer Catherine their own assistance in unblocking her toilet, while others were “howling” at her not-so-subtle warning to Tom.
One quipped: “Too right. Not a job for a princess. How dare he!”
Another said, “I literally howled at this”, while a third told Catherine: “That is hilarious. You always crack me up.”

A fourth mused: “In one simple screen shot, proof that males and females will never be equal! It is a very funny post though.”
Catherine and Tom married in 2016 and have one son, Alfie, three.
In a recent interview with Fabulous magazine, soap star Catherine gushed of her husband: “He’s a phenomenal dad and I literally thank my lucky stars for him every day, because I couldn’t do half the things I do without Tom.
“And he cooks, too. Winner! He just supports me in every which way possible. With every decision I make he’s got my back. He’s there.”
