Their Coronation Street characters Eva Price and Jason Grimshaw may not have parted ways on the best of terms, but it is clear Catherine Tyldesley has plenty of affection for her pal Ryan Thomas.
The 34-year-old soap favourite has posted a glowing tribute to her Celebrity Big Brother contestant friend – and fans can’t get enough of her “beautiful words”.
Ryan, also 34, made his big entrance on the Channel 5 reality series on Thursday evening.
And just a few hours later, Catherine was sharing with her 425,000 Instagram followers just how much their friendship means to her.

“This dude is one of the best,” she captioned her post, accompanying five pics of the pair in character and out on the town.
The touching caption continued: “I know you’ll smash #CelebrityBigBrother love because you’re personality is top notch!

Adding she would see him and his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh soon, Catherine urged her mate to thrive just by being himself.
“Now go forth and be the amazing person you are!” she added.
