Piers Morgan is never one to do things by halves, so his 53rd birthday celebration was a little low-key by his usual in-your-face standards – particularly on the guest list front.
And his chosen venue, the uber swanky Beverly Hills restaurant A.O.C, might be a million miles away from Essex, but didn’t stop one of its most well-known families – the Wrights – dropping by.
Mark Wright turned up to Piers’ bash with sisters Jessica and Natalya in tow, and the family were joined the Good Morning Britain frontman’s pal Gary Lineker.

Piers seemed pretty chuffed with his birthday cake – which in true PM style sported a pic of his own face but with Donald Trump’s hair Photoshopped on it – and proudly posed for pics with it, declaring on Instagram that it was the ‘Greatest birthday cake in history’.
Mark later took to social media to share a video of Piers blowing out his candles, and could be heard shouting ‘Come on Piersy’ in the background as the birthday boy puffed over the flames.

The Wright clan, including mum Carol and dad Big Mark, had enjoyed quite the big night out already, having kicked the evening off with a family meal at LA restaurant Taola, where they bumped into Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
Millie later showed her appreciation for the snap Mark shared by liking it with a heart emoji.
Piers’ party guests went on to round off their night by cosying up for a group shot to share on social media, with Piers looking very pleased with himself as he posed with his assorted chums.
‘Such a nice evening celebrating @ The Piers Morgan birthday’ Mark later wrote on Instagram.
Who knew they were all such best buds, eh? Wonder if certain people were wondering where their invitations were? (Susanna Reid? Donald Trump?…)
